Biography

Anastasios Moustakas

Born in Athens - 05/04/1975.

Parents: Konstantinos/ Despina.

1999: graduated from the National Conservatory, piano degree with the grade of Excellent.

2000-2007 studied Orchestration, Harmony, Fugue, Counterpoint, Composition, Sound mixing, Mastering, Editing, Music Production.

2007 summer: Professional Diploma courses in Filmscoring /Berklee College of Music/Boston-MA/U.S.A.

Carreer: 1999: composed the intro /outro of the LP-‘’ IODIUM:AEGEAN JOURNEY ‘’for Mediterranean Beat an independent music label based in L.A.CA.U.S.A./2000 music for the television/jingles for advertisements.

2005-2006 wrote and orchestrated music for the musical ‘’PROSTATES’’by M.Euthimiades.

Spring 2006: composed the music for a video for M.D.A. Hellas presented at Great Britain Hotel In Athens.

Autumn 2007-summer 2009 presented compositions and lectures for music and Bio Art as a member and subsequently President of the Rotary International Club: ‘’Iridanos’’/Eridanus/2470 district,ID:7474.

Spring 2010: composed and orchestrated the work ‘Paintings of love’/quintet for mezzo soprano/which was presented at Philippos Nakas Conservatory/Athens-Greece.

Today works as a freelance composer for the GCU(Greek Composers’ Union.)

In 1988 won the 1st prize for 4 hands from ‘’The Singers’’Trobadouroi’’ of Kifissia. In 2002 the city of Kifissia gave him a medal of honor for his contribution to a special night for music and poetry.

Hobbies: Painting.
